Kier is not only one of our best customers at Rubia, she is also one of my very best friends. It was an honor to watch her delight in choosing flowers for her big day, and then to also attend her wedding to John, and see all of their friends and family wrap them up in celebration.
Peach garden roses, white anemones, magnolia tips, and eucalyptus were combined with other lush greens and autumnal accents to highlight their fall celebration.
A new family portrait for Kier and John at their Battleground home. We love a doggy fashion moment!
As COVID cases rose in our area prior to their wedding date, Kier and John decided to tweak their ceremony location to make sure guests stayed safe. With so many people eager to celebrate their marriage, they decided to have the ceremony on the steps of the Battleground Chapel. Immediate family sat on benches inside the gated gardens, and friends looked on from just outside the fenced area.
If you’re getting married in Battleground, plan some time in with your photographer to zip over to Prophetstown State Park for some picturesque fall portraits.
John has an extensive background in landscaping, so his duties prior to the wedding included landscaping and hardscaping the property in time for the wedding. Mission accomplished! Guests danced all night on brick pavers under the pretty patio lights.
Thank you, Kier and John for letting us celebrate with you!
