Modern Midwest Elopement | Samara, a Frank Lloyd Wright Home

SAMARA Frank Lloyd Wright House entrance in West Lafayette, IN

Architecture lovers, this one’s for you! In 2020, Jacki and Sam had an intimate elopement at SAMARA, our local Frank Lloyd Wright landmark.

SAMARA is one of the country’s most complete Frank Lloyd Wright homes and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2015.

The property is a gem of the city, and Jacki and Sam’s floral and dress choices matched perfectly: class all the way.

I tried not to squeal with excitement when Jacki told me she was wearing a jumpsuit. She looked so cool, effortless, and elegant on her wedding day!

Jacki selected vivid, illustrative focal flowers for her bridal bouquet and Sam’s boutonniere. Mini callas, whimsical white veronica, and bold anemones joined delicate foliage in her bouquet.

Doggies, always! Look how dapper this lil’ pup is on his family’s big day. If I get a photo back from a photographer that includes a doggie on your wedding day, there is a 100% chance I’m going to share it.

Pop the champagne, they’re married! The happy couple went out on the town after their ceremony for urban celebration portraits with their photographer.
